Answer
This is usually due to the initial recording being done on a hard drive that is under performing and can not keep up with recording from the Touchmix. We always recommend using a Solid State Hard Drive, with a write speed of over 150mb a sec, USB bus powered, and able to be formatted to FAT32.
*Note* While Thumb Drives can be used for updates, scene saves and playback of sessions , if you do intend on using a Thumb Drive for recording make sure it has a write speed of 150MB a sec or faster.
