Today's Lesson

There are a total of eleven robust presets on each K.2 Series loudspeaker that are tailored to different applications. 

• If you’re a DJ, you’ll enjoy the Dance voicing which gives the loudspeaker more high-end clarity and additional extended low end.
• If you’re using the K.2s as floor monitors, there are two powerful presets for that as well.
  • The Stage Monitor 1 preset is optimized to be used with a vocal microphone, lowering and balancing frequencies that can be prone to feedback.
  • The Stage Monitor 2 preset is optimized for instruments that need a little more low-end extension, like drums, bass or keyboards.
• The Hand Mic preset is great if you need to plug a microphone directly into the loudspeaker for say, an announcement mic. 
• Other useful presets include voicings for an acoustic guitar, bass and vocals. A mic and guitar can be plugged directly into the loudspeaker with each input perfectly equalized and optimized for that instrument. 
• If you are into recording and mixing, the Studio Monitor preset is for you. Contoured after a well-known high-end brand of studio monitors, this Preset provides a well-balanced response with deep LF extension to be used as a studio monitor for mixing or tracking.
