Quick Tip | K.2 Series Outputs Explained: Mix Out vs Thru Out
Learn the differences between the Mix Out and the Thru Out on a K.2 Series loudspeaker.
Today's Lesson
Let’s discuss the difference between the Mix Out versus the Thru Output on a K.2 loudspeaker.
The Thru output, also known as a parallel output is a pre-gain output that will deliver the signal from the corresponding input out to another loudspeaker.
The mix output produces a post gain mix of all 3 inputs on the K.2 loudspeaker. Any adjustments made to the gain of any of the three channels will affect this mix out signal. If you need to deliver the more than one input at the exact same mix level to another input source, the mix out is how you do that.
